U.S. Golding Hops – American grown English genetics
U.S. Golding Hop Profile
U.S. Golding hops are the descendant of the legendary English noble variety East Kent Golding. Even though this variety is commonly called U.S. Golding, it was first cultivated in British Columbia before making its way to Washington State and Oregon in the early 1990s. U.S. Golding is ostensibly the same genetics as EKG, and it presents with a very similar noble-esque character, but is slightly more citrusy based on the growing region.
Golding Descendants: Chinook, Nugget, Perle
Aroma: English noble style, floral, honey, cardamom, herbal
