Ashburne Mild Malt can be used as specialty malt with a high percentage, or as a base malt. It has a slightly malty, sweet flavor, with toasty notes. This malt is a great addition to Belgian, mild, and brown ales, as well as Barley wines. It is darker in color than pale ales has more dextrin, which is beneficial for mouthfeel.
